  • Frisky's Adventure in Australia

    Jeffrey Mann

    language (, July 29, 2016)
It’s Frisky’s first birthday, and he has decided to make it the best day of his life. He figures that no one cares because he is just a dog, but he doesn’t mind because he knows that every day is as special as you make it, no better, and no worse. In the living room he has a present. It’s a Saint Bernard dog, his new little sister named Holly. They become instant friends and Frisky shows her all the things a dog needs to know. Frisky’s fairy friend, Boo, shows up. She is taking some scissors to her mermaid friends at the Great Barrier Reef. Fishermen have been fishing near the reef and some of the mermaids are getting caught in the nets. They can use the scissors to cut themselves free. So, the three of them go to Australia for an adventure. They visit Fisherman’s Wharf, Taranga Park Zoo, Bondi Beach, and the Great Barrier Reef. At the reef, one of the mermaids is caught in a net, and the excitement begins. In a fun twist, at the end of the story, Frisky tells Holly it wasn’t the best day of his life. Read the book to find out why.
